Your day-by-day adventure through Tanzania's spectacular wilderness
Day 1: Arusha To Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with a departure from Arusha, traveling towards Tarangire National Park via the scenic Arusha-Dodoma highway. En route, you may stop at a supermarket for any last-minute needs. After traversing the picturesque Masai Steppe, you’ll reach Tarangire in about 2 hours.
Upon arrival, your driver will complete the park registration before starting your first thrilling game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue with game drives until sunset.
You’ll then stay overnight at your chosen accommodation—Heart and Soul Lodge, Country Lodge, or a similar option—in Karatu. Lunch and dinner are included.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park To Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in Tarangire, we begin our journey across the Great Rift Valley. Ascend the escarpment and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying the scenic beauty along the way.
Arriving in the Serengeti National Park by afternoon, you’ll embark on an exhilarating game drive, exploring the vast Serengeti plains and encountering diverse wildlife. Lunch will be at a scenic picnic spot, often near the Naabi Hill Gate.
In the evening, you’ll settle into your camp or lodge, such as Thorntree Camp or Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp or any lodge in Serengeti where a warm campfire and dinner await. All meals are included.

Days 3 – 5: Full Days In Serengeti National Park
Start each day with a sunrise game drive to witness nocturnal creatures and the awakening of diurnal wildlife. After breakfast at the camp, spend the full day exploring the Serengeti’s endless plains in search of various wildlife, including wildebeests, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Return to Thorntree Camp or Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp each night, with all meals provided, ensuring you’re well-nourished for your daily adventures

Day 6: Serengeti National Park To Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti, exploring the Seronera River Valley or other notable areas. Your guide will stay in touch with other guides to ensure you visit the best spots for wildlife viewing.
In the afternoon, head back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and check into Heart and Soul Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. All meals are included.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. It’s recommended to start early or take a packed breakfast to maximize wildlife sightings, including the rare Black Rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo poolside site before ascending the crater rim.
Return to Arusha in the afternoon, concluding your safari adventure. Breakfast and lunch are included for your convenience.
