About Lake Manyara National Park
More than 400 species of bird inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Leopards, cheetahs, elephants, East African lions, blue monkeys, gazelles, dik-dik, hippopotami, impala, zebras, Masai giraffe, and many more wild animals inhabit this park. But it’s most iconic attraction unquestionably its tree-climbing lions, and congregation of people all over the world to see these iconic predators climbing the trees.
Is a Tanzanian National Park located both in the Arusha Region and Manyara region Tanzania? It is a small park at the base of the Rift Valley Escarpment. The Park is also very close to Tarangire National Park, the park consists of 330 km (130 sq mi) of arid land, forest, and a soda Lake which covers as much as 200 km (77 sq mi) of land during the wet season, The rainfall pattern of the park is modal with short rain starting from November to December and long rain from February to May, the dry season is from June to October.
